God's Men Taken Into Exile

How would you respond to a foreign country capturing you, taking you to live in their country, and re-educating you to serve their king? How might that impact your view of God? Those are big questions, and we probably wouldn't all respond in the same way. This Sunday we'll talk about Daniel and friends being taken off to Babylon and the requirements and challenges they faced to serve the king.

The book of Daniel is monumental in its scope of importance to the revelation of God and his working in human history. It is also a book of practicality on how the righteous can not only live, but thrive, and endure in a pagan culture by God's help.  Despite the tumultuous situation Daniel found himself in at an early age, the Lord was with him, working in the chaos to accomplish his purposes for Daniel, his people, and the nations.
