The Rise & Fall of the Beast
The kingdoms of man are going to get worse, and the worst of it will culminate in the future person of the Beast, also known as the Antichrist. In our passage this weekend Daniel provides more detail as to what the kingdom of the beast will look like, and its destruction at the return of the True King, Jesus. Though we may be fearful sheep at times, the Lord promises us he will destroy evil, and grant us to serve and participate in His coming kingdom on earth.

The book of Daniel is monumental in its scope of importance to the revelation of God and his working in human history. It is also a book of practicality on how the righteous can not only live, but thrive, and endure in a pagan culture by God's help. Despite the tumultuous situation Daniel found himself in at an early age, the Lord was with him, working in the chaos to accomplish his purposes for Daniel, his people, and the nations.
