ClosePsalm 2:1-12 describes the futile rebellion of earthly nations and rulers who plot against God and His chosen "Anointed One" (the Messiah), seeking to break free from divine authority, but God laughs from heaven, asserting His sovereign rule and promising ultimate triumph for His King, who will rule the nations with iron strength, calling all to heed and find refuge in Him rather than face His wrath.
