Jacob's Attempt at Reconciliation

Jacob, returning to Canaan after years away, faces his estranged, potentially vengeful brother Esau, prompting a meticulous attempt at reconciliation through strategic division of his camp for safety, humble prayer to God acknowledging his unworthiness and pleading for deliverance, and sending a lavish, multi-layered gift of livestock to appease Esau's anticipated anger, demonstrating both practical foresight and spiritual reliance to mend their broken past.
