John 20:19-31 describes the risen Jesus appearing to His fearful, locked-in disciples, offering them peace, the Holy Spirit, and a mission, but also highlighting the journey from disbelief (especially Thomas) to faith.

Scripture References: John 20:19-31

From Series: "The Gospel of John: That We May Believe"

The Gospel of John is about revealing Jesus as the divine Son of God, the promised Messiah, who offers eternal life to all who believe in Him, emphasizing His deity through powerful "signs" (miracles) and "I AM" statements, contrasting light with darkness, and focusing on Jesus as the Word made flesh, explaining God's will and love for humanity to foster faith and a deeper relationship with God.
