Jesus Prays for Future Believers
In John 17:20-26, part of the High Priestly Prayer, Jesus extends his intercession beyond his immediate disciples to all future believers, praying specifically for their supernatural unity. He desires that followers throughout history be unified in love and purpose—just as He and the Father are one—to serve as a compelling witness to the world that God sent Him.
