Message: “The Birth of the King” from Matt Chapin

Matt Chapin - December 7, 2025

The Birth of the King

One of the distinguishing teachings of the Christian faith is the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus came into the world, being born of the human race. He was one of us. Yet, at the same time, he was much more than us! He was God in the flesh! This was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14, where it proclaims the son born to the virgin would be called Immanuel, which means "God with us". What a wonderful thing to remember this Christmas season, that Jesus came into the world, so that through faith in him, we could know him as "God with us".
