  • Message: “The Gospel Changes Lives” from Matt Chapin

A message from the series “1 Timothy: Life in God\’s House.” Paul instructs Timothy that true faith isn’t about outward rules but inward change, leading to practical holiness, good conduct in worship, and selfless service within God’s family, demonstrating that authentic Christianity always results in a transformed lifestyle reflecting God’s grace and character.

  • Message: “For the Rest of Time” from Robert Courtney

A message from the series “1 Peter.” The First Epistle of Peter exhorts believers to live with an eternal perspective, utilizing their remaining time on earth to pursue God’s will rather than fleeting human desires. Written to early Christians facing persecution, the letter frames suffering as a temporary, refining process that deepens faith and points to a permanent, “imperishable” inheritance in heaven.

  • Message: “False Teachers, False Gospel” from Matt Chapin

A message from the series “1 Timothy: Life in God\’s House.” Paul warns young Timothy about dangerous false teachers in Ephesus who promote myths, endless genealogies, and worldly gain instead of godliness, leading to disputes, envy, and shipwrecked faith, stressing the need to stick to Christ’s sound doctrine and godly teaching to counter these threats and maintain focus on true salvation and spiritual health.

  • Message: “Recognizing False Teachers” from Matt Chapin

A message from the series “1 Timothy: Life in God\’s House.” Paul instructs Timothy to identify false teachers by their deviations from sound doctrine, focusing on pointless myths and genealogies instead of godliness, and by their corrupted character, marked by conceit, love of money (seeing godliness as a way to profit), and a passion for divisive arguments and controversies that breed envy, slander, and strife, all stemming from a seared conscience and a departure from true faith.

  • Message: “A Letter: From a Father to a Son” from Matt Chapin

A message from the series “1 Timothy: Life in God\’s House.” 1 Timothy reads like a father’s heartfelt charge to his spiritual son, Timothy, guiding him to lead the church in Ephesus with sound doctrine, courage, and godly conduct, warning against false teachings like myths and endless genealogies that distract from faith, and instructing him on church order, leadership, and caring for the needy, all while fighting the good fight of faith with a clear conscience.

  • Message: “The Prophesied King” from Matt Chapin

A message from the series “Receive the King: Christmas 2025.” In this section Matthew continues to lay out the evidence for Jesus being Israel’s Messiah. Already Matthew has announced through Jesus’ genealogy how he is the Son of David, and the Son Abraham. Not only that, he’s the son of God, as was alluded to in his genealogy and with the fulfillment of Isaiah 7:14. On top of this, Matthew’s provided the evidence for the Messiah being born in the place Scripture prophesied.

As if all this prophecy of Jesus being the Messiah was not enough, Matthew gives even more. Three more to be precise, and those will be the focus of Sunday’s sermon.

  • Message: “Worship the King” from Matt Chapin

A message from the series “Receive the King: Christmas 2025.” For Christians around the world, they have 52 Sundays a year to gather together to worship Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords. And then you throw on top of that what our worship of Jesus looks like in our private life, it amounts to a whole lot of worship of Jesus.

But that first Christmas, there were very few worshipers of Jesus the King. For even in his birth, some were hostile, some indifferent. But some, like the wiseman, and the shepherds, had to go and see Jesus! Jesus desires all to come and worship him, and those who do come, come with hearts of joy for the Savior who’s been born to them. May we never grow tired of worshiping the King!

  • Message: “The Birth of the King” from Matt Chapin

A message from the series “Receive the King: Christmas 2025.” One of the distinguishing teachings of the Christian faith is the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus came into the world, being born of the human race. He was one of us. Yet, at the same time, he was much more than us! He was God in the flesh!

This was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14, where it proclaims the son born to the virgin would be called Immanuel, which means “God with us”. What a wonderful thing to remember this Christmas season, that Jesus came into the world, so that through faith in him, we could know him as “God with us”.

  • Message: “The Genealogy of the King” from Matt Chapin

A message from the series “Receive the King: Christmas 2025.” The Genealogy of the King isn’t just a dry list of names; it’s a powerful story of divine promise and messy humanity, revealing Jesus as the long-awaited Messiah, the promised Son of David, fulfilling Abraham’s blessing for all nations. Despite scandalous figures like David, Rahab, and Ruth, and a lineage marked by sin, this royal family tree shows God working through brokenness, bringing the ultimate King whose grace welcomes everyone—Jew, Gentile, sinner, outsider—into His kingdom, proving He’s establishing an eternal reign of justice, not just another earthly dynasty.
